Admission Guidelines
ProMed Career Institute requires certain documentation in order to ensure students meet entry-level requirements. Students must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED (high school equivalency) and two Official Transcripts.

ECG/EKG Admission Guidelines
In order to ensure that applicants meet the entry level requirements for training that will lead toward certification, we require certain documentation for students enrolling in our EKG Technician course.
A copy of the following documents is required:
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma and transcript from an institution in the United States of America to be provided by the applicant OR General Education Diploma (GED).
- BLS Certification Card by American Heart Association – Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Phlebotomy Program Admission Guidelines
In order to ensure that applicants meet the entry level requirements for training that will lead toward certification, we require certain documentation for students enrolling in our Phlebotomy course.
A copy of the following documents is required:
- High School OR College transcripts from an institution in the United States of America to be provided by the applicant
- General Education Diploma (GED).
- 1 Copy and 1 Official Transcripts
Other General Requirements:
- Students must be at least 18 years of age
- A current American Heart Association BLS Card is required
- Proof of a negative TB (Tuberculosis) Test or negative chest X-Ray
- Proof of current MMR (Mumps, Measles, & Rubella), Varicella and Flu Vaccinations
- Proof of Hepatitis B Vaccination
- Background Report and Professional Liability Insurance
- A physical exam stating the student is fit to work
- Urine Drug Screen (10 panel)
